Every so often, a wedding unfolds with such perfection that, as I sit in the editing suite, it transports me back to the magical moments spent with the Bride and Groom. Richard and Amy's Ashridge House Wedding was such a day!An enchanting experience, brimming with beautiful moments that I was privileged to be part of. The warmth and hospitality of their friends and family made me feel more like parting with close friends at the end of the day rather than bidding farewell to a typical wedding.The preparations for Amy and her Bridal party took place in one of the many ground-floor suites. The sunlight blasted through the windows which helped me create some wildly contrasting images. Whilst Richard and his Groomsmen had a beautiful wood-paneled room, bathed in exquisite light to use for their preparations.The wedding ceremony unfolded in the epic chapel, which exuded a gothic charm. Colored glass windows allowed streams of light to filter through, casting an enchanting spell over the proceedings.As Richard and Amy exited the chapel, a cascade of vibrant, multi-colored confetti showered them, capturing the exuberance and joy of the newlyweds.We ventured outdoors for a special photoshoot featuring smoke bombs, with the bridal party joining in for a dramatic and unforgettable visual. Exactly what the couple had been hoping for.The celebrations continued with a champagne tower gracing the staircase, adding a touch of class and elegance that resonated with the rest of the day.To cap off this extraordinary day, Richard & Amy spent a little time with me to create the ultimate wedding couple portrait on the grand staircase—a timeless and classic moment encapsulating the love and happiness of Richard and Amy.Located in Berkhamsted, HP4 1NS, Ashridge House is an impressive venue that hosts a variety of events.
