—Puh, das fängt ja gut an :-)
Es gibt 3 Kollegen/innen die auch sehr gute Fotos machen. Dennoch sind die Fotos völlig unterschiedlich, da jeder seinen eigenen Stil hat. Ich denke, dass sollen andere Leute entscheiden...

—Are you photogenic?

—Keine Ahnung. Ich fühle mich auf jeden Fall hinter der Kamera besser aufgehoben.

—How did you get in the photography industry?

—Durch einen Zufall. Ein befreundetes Paar fragte mich, ob ich nicht Fotos machen könnte. Und schon hatte ich Blut geleckt... ;-)

—What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?

—Wenn ich mir ein Foto später anschaue und es mich immer noch emotional berührt – dann ist es gut.

—Do you love traveling?

—Unbedingt! Fremde Kulturen, Menschen, Landschaften, das gefällt mir am Reisen.

—What do you like most about your profession?

—Wenn die Fotos an das Brautpaar übergeben werden und ich das Strahlen in den Augen sehe... das macht mich glücklich.

—What do you like least about your profession?

—Wenn ich nach einer Reportage Muskelgruppen fühle, von denen ich nicht wusste, dass es sie überhaupt gibt...

—What will be the future of photography?

—Schwer zu sagen. Ich glaube, dass "Bewegtbilder" immer mehr kommen werden.

—What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?

—Du hast nur mit Menschen zu tun, die super drauf sind und gute Laune haben. Das macht Spaß!

—How do you handle criticism?

—Niemand ist perfekt. Durch Kritik kann jeder etwas lernen und sich verbessern.

—Are there any trends in photography?

—Die Bildlooks sind besser geworden. Fotos müssen für viele Leute vom Look hip sein.

—What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?

—Die Fotos und der Stil des Fotografen müssen dem Paar gefallen.
Und das Wichtigste: Die Chemie zwischen Paar und Fotograf muss stimmen!

—Essende Menschen – NoGo!

—Puh, kann ich nicht beantworten.

—Meine Frau. Sie ist so kreativ und hat einen sehr guten Geschmack und das richtige Feeling für viele Dinge.

—Wenn ich Menschen mit meinen Fotos glücklich mache, dann ist das für mich der größte Erfolg.

—...wenn man mich mag.

—noch ist mir kein großer Fehler unterlaufen...

—Badehose, weil ich unbedingt schwimmen gehen möchte.
Meine Kameraausrüstung, weil ich ohne nicht verreise.

—Is there anything among your gadgets that you wish you haven't bought? Why?

—Pocket Wizard. Das System war eigentlich immer gut. Seit ein paar Wochen funktioniert es nicht mehr richtig und die Geräte von Yungnuo können es auch und sind günstiger.

—How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?

—Ich schaue mir sehr viele Fotos von anderen Fotografen an (Bildbände) und lese viel in den unterschiedlichsten Foren.

—What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?

—...das man manchmal ganz schön Rückenschmerzen hat :-)

—Ich versuche zu begleiten, Momente festzuhalten an die man sicher später nicht mehr erinnern würde...

—andere Menschen glücklich zu machen.

—mit dem fotografieren eher anfangen.
