Vail Wedding at Camp Hale

Kelly and Chris’s Camp Hale wedding wasn’t just unplugged, it was off the grid. Without the distraction of seeing who’s posting what on social media, their guests could focus on having a damn good time. Add in some of the most beautiful views and tastiest spirits in Colorado (thanks, 10th Mountain!), and you have the perfect recipe for a crazy party!We knew to a certain extent that Kelly and Chris’s party was going to be a good one. To begin with, they showed us that they’re up for just about anything when we put them through the ringer on their marathon Alt Session located on two different mountains. During the Alt Session, Kelly told us the story of the first time Chris met her family. Spoiler alert: everyone ended up in a lake….in February.Then, the groomsmen photos were….well, not fit to post publicly.And finally, during the Father of the Bride’s toast, it was mentioned that when their family gets together for a party, it’s common for someone to emerge with a chipped tooth. This confession piqued my interest. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait long for Soul X to get the party started!The pictures do it justice better than I ever could, but this party included a shotski (gifted by the parents of the bride to the newlyweds…with rubber shots to prevent chipped teeth), multiple people getting lifted in the air multiple times, and stage diving. The shirts stay mostly on throughout the night. Mostly. (As long as the top button is buttoned, it’s considered on, right guys?)
