  • —Za prvé a především – koho můžete jmenovat jako nejlepšího fotografa ve vašem městě? :)

    —It depends on who you ask.
    In 2015 I was WPJA photographer of the year – worldwide.

  • —Jak jste se dostali do fotografického průmyslu?

    —After working 7 years as a photojournalist and another 7 years as an architect I decided to become full-time wedding photographer.

  • —Jaké jsou podle vás nedůležitější součásti dobré fotografie?

    —The strong content.

  • —Co máte nejredši na vaší profesi?

    —For me the best thing to do in life is shooting weddings.

  • —Jsou nějaké trendy v oblasti focení?

    —There are, but I don't believe in them. I don't like trends. They come and go. For me, photography should be timeless. So I practice nice colors and black & white photographs with strong content.

  • —Jaké by měl mít zákazník kritérium při výběru fotografa?

    —I always say to my clients – think about what will your kids see in your wedding album, when they will get married after 20/30 years.

  • —Jakých detailů, které obvykle projdou bez povšimnutí, si může fotograf všimnout?

    —A good photographer can capture beautiful photos of the couple but also the hidden/small moments that no one sees. A good photographer can capture the 'making of' at the same level as the 'must be' photos.

  • —Co chcete fotit?

    —I've photographed Hollywood movie stars, super-rich people, politicks,... but also very normal couples. For me is the same. It's not about what the people are or do, the wedding is about the love between two souls.

  • —Jaký byl nejpůsobivější okamžik ve vašem životě?

    —In personal life – definitely my kids birth. In professional career – winning the Photographer of the year 2015 title by Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). Another huge moment was speaking in front of almost 2000 people at the Wedding Brasil conference in Sao Paulo.

  • —Kdo vás inspiruje ve vašem životě a proč?

    —My wife and my kids. They are my biggest inspiration. My son is a very talented football player. Daughter is a national champion in saxophone. And my wife – I'd never be where I am without her!

  • —Co děláte ve svém volném čase?

    —I love trail running. So I try to spend as much time in nature and mountains as possible. Now and then I also make something from wood.
