—First and foremost – whom can you name as the best photographer in Mexico City, Mexico? :)

—I dont really know. But I like christian macias and jorge romero.

—Are you photogenic?

—according to my mom yes!! ahahaha

—How did you get in the photography industry?

—A friend of mine ask me to do his wedding because he didn't have money to pay for a wedding photographer.

—What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?

—Light and composition.

—Do you love traveling?

—a lot!

—What do you like most about your profession?

—Happy couples!!

—What do you like least about your profession?

—That I don´t have a social life because I work almost every saturday.

—What will be the future of photography?

—Well, even thought I work with a Nikon D5, I think the future is on the mirrorless side. Speedlights more powerful. (hope so)

—What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?

—I think it s a very emotional job. We play with emotions.

—How do you handle criticism?

—I try to proactive. I now Im not the best and we need to learn from everyone.

—Are there any trends in photography?

—There are plenty of tendencies. I think it depends were you from and what you like. Let me say, Fer Juaristi is making a really big change in Méxican photographers but im not really interested in his work. I like much more Two mann, witch is completely different.

—What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?

—They have to get to know the photographer, I always say, if you don't feel that "click" with me, dont hire me.

—What things are to be avoided when shooting?

—Shooting only JPG.

—What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?

—Family reactions.

—What influences the value of a photo? What are its elements?

—Valuable for me. Light and composition. But I think it we all have different taste.

—I just want to keep on going. I dont like thinking about bad things. But im afraid if one day im not there for my kids because a desease or something tragic..

—The birth of my kids.

—my wife and my mom.

—Not doing what im trying to do now. Networking.

—Money and my camera.

—I have a lot of things (like shoulder rigs and steady cams) that now are obsolete but dont regret about having them.

—How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?

—renewing your work every now and then. Also search on the web for wedding pictures from other countries.

—I wouldn't prefer anything else but if I wasn't a photographer, I'd be cheff

—Be yourself, dont pose on your life.

—My love to photography and my need to eat.

—I think they had a great balance.

—get interested in little things in life. And not eat that shrimp on new years eve.

—I could say, when my clients are happy with my work. But even thought they really like my work, sometimes I now I could have done a better job.
