—Are you photogenic?
—I wouldn't say so. I am usually the one behind the camera and do not enjoy being seen to much.
-
—How did you get in the photography industry?
—It was a natural evolution... I love street photography, fashion and portrait and therefore love shooting wedding photography in my artsy-journalistic style.
-
—What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?
—Especially for wedding photography, certainly the photo must convey emotion and have a story to tell. Apart from these two aspects then, there are also the technical aspects such as lighting and composition.
-
—Do you love traveling?
—Ohh yes :)
-
—What do you like most about your profession?
—Moving from place to place, meeting new people and creating art.
-
—What do you like least about your profession?
—The headache of possibly not being able to make it to the wedding due to some illness or something.
-
—What will be the future of photography?
—Mirrorless cameras are already with us – their technology has already catched with their heavier DSLR counterparts.
-
—What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?
—Emotions and the once in a lifetime event, which everyone has been preparing so much to.
-
—How do you handle criticism?
—Positively, as it helps me improve. Infact it helps me see things which otherwise I would not have noted.
-
—Are there any trends in photography?
—It seems most photographers are moving towards a journalistic fastpaced style.
-
—What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?
—The artistic style of the photo – colour, tone, framing.
-
—What things are to be avoided when shooting?
—Relaxing! One must keep concentrated till the last seconds of a wedding.
-
—What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?
—Geometries, reflections, frames.
-
—Who would you like to shoot with?
—Roberto Valenzuela and Livio Lacurre certainly.
